Jo chats to Jack White about the opening of the Third Man Records store in Soho, the first store outside the USA.

Situated on Marshall Street in the heart of London's historic Soho - an area renowned for its rich musical history - the London Third Man Records Store will complete a trio of Third Man physical spaces that includes buildings in Nashville, Tennessee and Detroit, Michigan.

Jack White is the 'coolest, weirdest, savviest rock star of our time' (The New York Times Magazine). He鈥檚 best known as the frontman for The White Stripes, which he formed in 1997 with his ex-wife Meg White. In 2006, he founded The Raconteurs with Brendan Benson, and in 2009 founded The Dead Weather with Alison Mosshart. He starred in the Academy Award-winning film Cold Mountain, and rejuvenated a flagging Detroit art scene by making his hometown the headquarters of his record label, Third Man Records.
