"I just ran around with flat tyres..."
Sean explains that he never enjoyed changing bicycle tyres.
"I was out for a walk this morning, " says Ron in Belfast, "and I saw a guy fixing his puncture on his racing bike at the side of the road. He said it happens to him all the time. It reminded me of when I was wee. We used two spoons to get the tyre off."
"That's right!" Sean says. "You used a great dirty big spoon, a big, big, big, big spoon. Not like a soup spoon. Bigger again. A dirty big spoon."
"A serving spoon?" Emma says.
"You used to run the spoon around the tyre, then you had a basin of water, and you blew up the tyre in the water... I hated it. I could never fix the punctures. I could never get the tyre off. I just ran around with the flat tyres."
With music from Tom Jones, Engelbert Humperdinck, Michael Bubl茅, The Beatles, and more.
