Dáithà Ó MuirÃ
Féile Idirnáisiúnta na hEalaÃon, Bhéal Feirste, Féile Liteartha Frances Browning, Lá Domhanda na MúinteoirÃ.
Tá Féile Idirnáisiúnta Bhéal Feirste le tosnú amárach agus tá Robert McMillen linn le cúpla buaicphointe a roghnú as na himeachtaà uilig. Dáta eile don dialann an tseachtain seo ná Féile Liteartha Frances Browning i mBealach Féich agus Srath an Urláir agus tá an file Dubhán Ó Longáin linn le réamhbhlaiseadh a thabhairt ar an fhéile úrnua seo, ceardlann scrÃbhneoireacht chruthaitheach leis féin san áireamh. Agus, ar Lá Domhanda na MúinteoirÃ, labhraÃonn Dáithà le beirt mhúinteoirà atá pósta ar a chéile. Cluinimid faoi na dúshláin is mó a bhà ann le linn na bliana go leith atá curtha dÃobh beirt mar mhúinteoirÃ, chomh maith leis na fáthanna go bhfuil a gcroÃthe go fóill istigh sa mhúinteoireacht in ainneoin na ndúshlán sin.
Dáithà is back in the Blas hotseat tonight, getting a preview from Robert McMillen of the Belfast International Arts Festival which kicks off tomorrow. Plus, he hears from poet Dubhán Ó Longáin about the many treats in store from this Thursday at the inaugural Frances Browning Literary Festival in the twin towns of Ballybofey and Stranorlar, including an Irish-language writing workshop from Dubhán himself. Finally for Unesco World Teachers’ Day, Dáithà speaks to two teachers – who are also a married couple – about the biggest professional challenges they have faced in the last year and half, as well as the reason why they still feel they are in the right career.
