Afrodeutsche is the alias of Henrietta Smith-Rolla; a British born Ghanaian-Russian-German German artist, composer, producer, and DJ based in Manchester. This week Jamz takes her Back to her Roots to discuss her musical beginnings. Expect raving anthems, tv themes, and Classical music. We鈥檙e very excited to speak to Henrietta ahead of her new 6 Music show The People鈥檚 Party. Jamz then gets on the Weekend Warm-up Mix, the theme this week 鈥� celebrating Black History Month 鈥� is a selection of artists from the Black Artist Database (formerly known as Black Bandcamp). The database is a 鈥渃ommunity-based platform, hosting a wealth of international Black-owned record labels, artists, producers and bands.
