Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran chooses the Tracks of My Years.

Since forming in 1978, the band has sold over 100 million records, making them one of the world's best-selling music artists of all time. So far they've achieved 30 top 40 singles in the UK, 14 singles in the top 10 and 21 in the US Billboard Hot 100. They have also won numerous awards throughout their career including two Brit Awards, two Grammys, an MTV Video Music Award and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

In October they released their fifteenth studio album, 'Future Past', from which Radio 2 previously play-listed the single 'Anniversary', which was written in celebration of 40 years since Duran Duran's debut album.

Simon and his band mates have had a busy year - they recently performed two intimate shows in their home town of Birmingham, closed this year's Isle Of Wight Festival before taking part in the Global Citizen Live's star-studded event at the end of September. The 24 hour global production included two huge concerts in London and Los Angeles featuring performances in London from Kylie Minogue, Nile Rodgers, Chic and Rag 'n' Bone Man - all from a spectacular location. Both events were part of the once-in-a-generation day of unity across six continents, broadcast on TV networks around the world with the purpose of uniting the planet in fighting climate change and defeating poverty.
