"It was only a page and a half, this story," Sean says, "thank goodness!"
"I started re-reading a book," Sean says, "Reading in the Dark by Seamus Deane. "It's the sort of book you can set it down, and come back to it. But I was half way through the ghost story and I had to leave it. There's a wee boy and a wee girl, and the wee boy was changing, one morning he had fair hair, the next day he had brown hair, and the eyes changed, and I went on to another one. And in this story he was chasing rats. "
Thomasina shudders.
"Exactly, Thomasina. Yes... I won't go into too much detail, but thankfully it was short, and I thought, quick, get to the end of this story! It was only a page and a half, this story... thank goodness! So after that I finished the ghost story. I didn't like it. It left a mark on me, that's all I can tell you."
With music from The Beatles, Shania Twain, Ray Stevens, Neil Diamond, Buddy Holly, and more.
