Episode 2 of 6

Stacey and her team help a couple with two energetic kids declutter their home and put new systems in place to help them stay organised.

The average family home contains thousands of items we don鈥檛 really need, and living in all the clutter is making us miserable. But imagine if every single item in your home were laid out before you, so you could decide what to keep and what to lose. Stacey Solomon has put together a crack team of organising fanatics to help families transform their messy homes by carrying out a life-changing declutter and a budget-friendly makeover.

This time, Stacey and her gang - organiser Dilly, carpenter Rob and cleaner Iwan - challenge the Patel family to sort their life out in seven days. In order to do this, they will have to embark on a mammoth declutter. Stacey asks the family to try to let go of half their possessions, so that she can then beautifully reorganise their home. The family - mum Bijal, dad Darshan and their two children - own 387 bits of tupperware, 1,011 bangles and over 2,000 toys. With everything displayed in front of them, the family are shocked to see how much stuff they have and are amazed that it all fitted into their house in the first place.

Bijal and Darshan struggle to part with their possessions, but they really want to create an environment free of the chaos for their son, who finds it hard to concentrate in the clutter. They have both come from families that hold onto things, and they are forced to confront the habit they have inherited.

Carpenter Rob breathes new life into the house with some ingenious understairs storage and hidden kitchen drawers. Cleaner Iwan gives the home a supersized spring clean, with lots of useful tips along the way, and organiser Dilly shows us all the best way to sort out pantries and playrooms. When the family are left with only the must-keep items, they are stylishly systemised by Stacey and her team, ready for the big reveal.
