Episode 4
Countdown鈥檚 Rachel Riley competes with husband and Strictly partner Pasha Kovalev to find antiques. David and Paul assist, but will maths skills or fancy footwork win the day?
Countdown host and maths queen Rachel Riley competes with her husband and former Strictly partner, dancer Pasha Kovalev, to find the most profitable antiques.
Paul Martin and David Harper are on hand to help scour the shops of Rachel鈥檚 home county of Essex, although their advice doesn鈥檛 always tally with the tastes of the celebrity twosome. Their transportation for this trip around Rachel鈥檚 old haunts comes in the form of a very sporty 1960s Austin Healey and a very yellow 70s Reliant Scimitar.
The fighting continues away from the antique shops as Rachel gets to grips with a longbow and discovers why English archers were so formidable in war during the Middle Ages. Meanwhile, Pasha鈥檚 weapon of choice makes a bigger bang as he finds out how the town of Colchester was besieged during the English Civil War.
Then it鈥檚 off to auction for their purchases, and we find out if expert advice, maths skills or fancy footwork wins the day.
