Schubert's Ninth, the 'Great', begins this week's focus on great Romantic symphonies 鈥� Ryan Wigglesworth conducts the 大象传媒 Scottish Symphony Orchestra in a performance recorded in Glasgow in July. Also, Smetana from The Ulster Orchestra, Renaissance music performed by the Youth of La Capella Reial de Catalunya, new music by Sarah Frances Jenkins from the Vale of Glamorgan Festival, all alongside music by Stravinsky, Beethoven and Jozef Suk.
