Annabel Maclennan reports on concerns about the high price of crofts in Scotland. Young people especially are finding it increasingly difficult to obtain working crofts. The Scottish Crofting Federation has warned that, unless measures are taken, the future of crofting is in jeopardy.

Catalonia
After the 2017 referendum in Catalonia, nine leaders of the Catalan independence movement were imprisoned and convicted of sedition for their part in the attempt to break from Spain. Earlier this year the Spanish Government of Pedro Sanchez issued a pardon and they were released. With new leadership in Barcelona and Madrid, a dialogue has begun about the way forward, but the Catalan people remain as divided as ever on the issue. For ·¡Ã²°ù±è²¹, Niall O'Gallagher interviewed the Catalan President, Pere Aragonès, during the COP26 conference in Glasgow about climate change, and about the dialogue between the Catalan and Spanish Governments and whether it can bring the resolution of the Catalan question any closer.
