Two great hours packed with more top hits and forgotten gems from this glorious decade.

Johnnie鈥檚 joined this week by top chef and author Rick Stein for a chat and some tunes.

As well as being one of Britain鈥檚 best-loved foodies, Rick adores Seventies music, particularly Classic Rock from the early part of the decade, and has some great tales to tell about bands and artists he saw back in the day. He鈥檒l also be chatting about his latest book 鈥楻ick Stein At Home鈥, inspired by the old-fashioned family recipes that he found himself turning to during lockdown last year.

All the usual features are here too throughout the show, with our look at This Week In Music featuring Ian Dury, Gilbert O鈥橲ullivan, and Rod Stewart. The latest addition to Johnnie鈥檚 Jukebox is a heartfelt 1974 No.1, and your choice of something that stood out from the rest of the chart hits at the time in our One Of A Kind slot is something rather odd from 1977.

We鈥檝e lots more of your email dedications, requests and stories, so to get involved on any of our future shows, email walker @bbc.co.uk

And make sure you never miss out on your favourite Sounds Of The Seventies programme every week by hitting the 鈥橲ubscribe鈥 button now on 大象传媒 Sounds, and it鈥檚 then ready for you to listen to or download whenever you like.
