Teaching union in Northern Ireland have expressed concerns about staffing levels and the ability to source substitute teachers. But some principals have dismissed calls by one union for a Covid circuit breaker warning it will have a big impact on pupils. Michael Allen, the principal of Lisneal College in Derry, says closing schools when nightclubs remain open 'doesn't make sense'. Also, MICA families react as a new compensation scheme is announced. Irish government minister, Charlie McConalogue, says it's a good deal, but homeowners say the 'devil is in the detail'.
