Episode 5
Stacey and her team help a family sort out their clutter, helping to give their mum, who has limited mobility after an accident, her independence back.
This time, Stacey and her gang - organizer Dilly, carpenter Rob and cleaner Iwan - help the Lespeare family sort their life out in seven days.
An accident has left mum Kirsty with limited mobility, meaning she struggles to keep on top of day-to-day chores. The family - Kirsty, dad Taurean and their four children - want the team to find storage solutions that won鈥檛 damage their rented home but will help give Kirsty her independence back.
The family's possessions are packed up and laid out so they and Stacey can see what they have got. The total includes four toastie makers, 18 gaming controllers and 84 bottles of condiments. With everything displayed in front of them, the family are shocked to see how much they really own, and they wonder how it all fitted into their house in the first place.
There are emotional moments as Kirsty tries to let go of clothes that remind her of life before her accident, and Taurean faces up to the part he has played in the build-up of clutter. Carpenter Rob breathes new life into the home by creating accessible storage for Kirsty, transforming all the bedrooms without damaging the walls. Cleaner Iwan gives the home a supersized spring clean, with lots of useful tips along the way, and organiser Dilly shows us all the best way to sort out our stuff.
