Episode 13
Trisha Goddard and Dr Amir Khan join Tim Medhurst and Izzie Balmer on a hunt for profit-making antiques. Expect dressing up, burnt-out clutches and a top-secret visit to a beehive.
TV doctor and GP Amir Khan takes on presenter and talk show icon Trisha Goddard in a competition to make the most money from antiques. Veteran Road Trippers Tim Medhurst and Izzie Balmer help to navigate the classic cars and offer shopping expertise when needed.
The Home Counties play host to this antiquing adventure. Dr Amir is instinctively attracted to some mid-century anatomical drawings, but his playful side sees him part with cash to buy a toy robot and a model submarine. Meanwhile, Trisha plumps for an unusual portrait of Queen Victoria.
The classic car鈥檚 clutch just about holds out for Amir to visit a top secret location to allow him to swat up on beekeeping, and Trisha steps back in time to visit the Regency era and explore what it takes to be a dandy.
The journey comes to an exciting end in St. Albans. For these two friends it鈥檚 not just about making a big profit- bragging rights are also at stake.
