Will begins to smell a rat while Harrison saves the day.
Mia catches Stella with an armful of Christmas cards to post and fires questions at her about her personal circumstances. When Will delivers a Bridge Fresh box to Stella, she recounts her earlier conversation with Mia and wonders if she’s planning another protest. Will promises to speak to Mia.
On her return from rehearsals for The Ambridge Mystery Plays, Will asks Mia what she’s up to. She comes clean, admitting she’s trying to get Will a girlfriend. She thinks there’s a spark between him and Stella; ‘Alien’ is both Will and Stella’s favourite film. Will makes it clear that he’s not ready to meet anyone new yet and Mia promises to stop match-making.
Harrison learns from Kirsty that Lynda wants him to wear a loin cloth while playing Jesus. When Kirsty explains she’s visiting Philip, Harrison insists they speak first – he has an update on Blake. Kirsty’s relieved to learn that Blake’s now safe and supported. She recognises Harrison’s part in freeing Blake. She scrubs her plan to visit Philip but won’t let him know – he can rot.
Later, Kirsty and Harrison review that evening’s rehearsal. Lynda couldn’t turn away those who showed up to be extras and is cross with Kirsty. Kirsty can’t help Harrison when it comes to persuading Lynda against the loin cloth. Their conversation returns to Blake. Kirsty hopes his information will lead to more traffickers being caught. She still can’t believe she didn’t spot what Philip was up to and wasn’t able to really help Blake like others did.
