Episode 19
Comedians Rufus Hound and Chris McCausland join antiques experts Margie Cooper and Ochuko Ojiri in Merseyside. There are lots of laughs and bags of buys, but will there be profits aplenty?
Liverpool welcomes two kings of witty repartee, Rufus Hound and Chris McCausland. These mates are putting friendship aside as they compete to make the most money from flipping antiques for profit. Ready for a laugh are veteran Road Trippers Margie Cooper and Ochuko Ojiri.
These two funny men make some quirky finds, from a Second World War pilot鈥檚 escape axe to a copper watering can. The toughest task, it seems, is keeping a straight face when trying to haggle.
Rufus finds time to explore the mystery and intrigue shrouding one of the last remaining Nazi U-boats in the world and why it has ended up in Birkenhead. Local lad Chris takes a break as he heads to Everton to find out just how an unsuspecting laundrette saved many lives in the 19th century.
The auction result is no laughing matter, although there are giggles aplenty on this amusing trip through Merseyside.
