'Two鈥� tunes, chat and comedian Vic Reeves

Mark and Stuart present a feast of great music and chat, and comedian Vic Reeves joins them to share his 'First, Last and Everything'.

Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie present a feast of great music and chat for weekend breakfast.

Today is day two of 2022, so there鈥檚 a bit of a 鈥榯wo鈥� theme in today鈥檚 tracks. Also, Jim Moir AKA comedian Vic Reeves joins Mark and Stuart to share his 'First, Last and Everything' - that鈥檚 the first record he bought, the most recent one he鈥檚 been enjoying and the record that means 鈥榚verything鈥� to him.

Jim came to prominence in the 1990鈥檚 with surreal cult comedy TV series 鈥榁ic Reeves Big Night Out鈥� alongside comedy partner Bob Mortimer. The pair went on to have success with other TV series including 鈥楾he Smell of Reeves and Mortimer鈥�, 鈥楥atterick鈥� and comedy panel show 鈥楽hooting Stars.鈥� He is also an accomplished artist.

Jim tells Mark and Stuart about his current musical passions as well as his love of experimental rock group Henry Cow. He also reveals that the first album he bought as a child was a total accident鈥� having just seen Stanley Kubrick鈥檚 film 鈥�2001: A Space Odyssey鈥� at the cinema, he went to the record store to buy the movie鈥檚 theme music but mistakenly came away with Space Oddity by David Bowie. He nearly took it back to the shop but the next day, he says, David Bowie was all over the papers so 10-year-old Jim "just claimed it for myself.. I鈥檓 really cool, I got this first!鈥�
