Violinist Tessa Lark with musical flow, groove and crunch

Violinist Tessa Lark opens up a colourful selection of music from the inside - revealing familiar and unfamiliar works in a new light.

Violinist Tessa Lark grew up immersed in both classical music and the bluegrass traditions of her native Kentucky. Drawing on these musical roots, Tessa chooses a colourful playlist that includes what she calls 'neuron tickling鈥� piano music by Gy枚rgy Ligeti, powerful melodies by Dvor谩k and the folksy grooves of B茅la Bart贸k.

Tessa also celebrates music by musicians with an 'old-school' sound including pianist Artur Schnabel playing Schubert and a violinist who could really 'sing a phrase', Fritz Kreisler.
