Katie Piper sits in for Dr Rangan Chatterjee. On the night before Blue Monday, supposedly the most depressing day of the year, Katie is joined by bestselling novelist Freya North to chat about Emotional Fitness.

Freya shares her own pillars of emotional fitness which helped her get through a difficult period in her life. It was a time when she was getting over a relationship and was suffering after painful back surgery. For five years, the experience left her unable to fulfil her great love of writing. But a trip to the Isle of Harris in the Hebrides energised her and set her on her journey to emotional fitness, which she shares with listeners. It also provided the inspiration for her new novel, Little Wing.
