"They sent over three Derry men to replace me!"
Listener, Jack, wonders if Sean Coyle was one of three men sent over to replace him in the building trade in Coventry.
"When I was building Coventry in the 1960s," says Jack Hardwell, "I left for a job on the buses."
"OK," Sean says, "so you left the building trade."
"And to replace me, they sent over three Derry men to replace me. Were you one of them?"
"No I wasn't one of them," Sean says. "I was sent over to build Birmingham. And I was so successful that the mayor of Coventry asked me to build Coventry Precinct."
With music from Sailor, Boney M, Solomon Burke, and more.
