Br矛ghde Chaimbeul was brought up on a peninsula called Sleat on the Isle of Skye. A native Gaelic speaker, she grew up surrounded by a musical family, and learned to play both piano and fiddle before taking up the pipes at the age of seven. One of her greatest inspirations is the legendary piper Rona Lightfoot, the first woman ever to win a major piping championship. Br矛ghde followed in her footsteps by winning the 大象传媒 Radio 2 Young Folk Award in 2016 and has since gone on to play the traditional Great Highland bagpipes and the revived Scottish smallpipes for audiences across the world. Her debut release The Reeling was recorded live in a church in the Black Isle Georgian town of Cromarty.

Anna Tr茅a is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer and conductor from S茫o Paulo. Her work links Brazilian rhythms such as the bai茫o, samba, maracatu and more, with the sounds of blues and folk alongside African grooves and Indian mantras. She casts physicality into her work, be that through a technique she calls 鈥榖ody percussion鈥 or by incorporating dance and theatre into her playing style.

Elsewhere there鈥檒l be the thumping tunes of Officer! and their recent dedication to the composer Cornelius Cardew. There鈥檒l also be folk celebrations of the Black British experience from the songwriter and arranger Angeline Morrison, as well as new sounds emanating from late '70s analogue hardware courtesy of ambient outfit Biosphere.
