Celebrating John Steinbeck and when Blue Peter made fadge.

Looking forward to the Steinbeck Festival in Limavady, remembering when Blue Peter made fadge (can the team do any better?!) and an update from the Discover Ulster Scots Centre.

Helen Mark chats with Dougie Bartlett ahead of the John Steinbeck Festival in Limavady and learns about Steinbeck’s Ulster Scots heritage. The team recall the time John Noakes made fadge on Blue Peter – what does our resident chef Paula McIntyre make of it and can the team do any better? There’s also a chat with David Gilliland from the Discover Ulster Scots Centre - which is starting to get nice and busy again!

The team loves to hear from listeners with their comments about the programme, or with a yarn or song or poem to share or an Ulster-Scots event to promote. You can contact them at kintra@bbc.co.uk.
