Maisonettes, Sugar Ray and Spectral Display
The best One Hit Wonders, plus Michel Mulders from Spectral Display on It Takes A Muscle To Fall In Love.
OJ plays some of the best One Hit Wonders from right across the decades.
This week he chats to Michel Mulders.
Michel is the founder of Spectral Display, a Dutch new wave group, who had a hit with ‘It Takes A Muscle To Fall In Love’ in 1982.
It was released in 13 countries, was their biggest hit, and M.I.A. covered it in 2010, changing the title to ‘It Takes a Muscle’, which was from her third studio album, Maya.
Michel also has new music out himself, ‘Lay All Your Love On Me.’
