Half an hour of continuous music featuring a wide variety of musical styles and moods: from choral Haydn to symphonic Borodin via Scandinavian and Scottish folk tunes cast in completely contrasting sound worlds. Plus chamber music by Beethoven and Susan Spain-Dunk and pianist Nikolai Lugansky plays Rachmaninov.
