Anna-Maria Helsing conducts the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Concert Orchestra at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London, in contemporary music from Britain and America, including the world premiere of Making Space by Liam Taylor-West. Norwegian violinist Mari Samuelsen joins them as soloist in Philip Glass's Violin Concerto No 1, a modern classic from 1987 written with the composer's late father in mind; and the orchestra shows its virtuosity in their own Concerto for Orchestra by Jennifer Higdon.
