OJ Borg sits in and chats to Jim Broadbent

Oscar winner Jim Broadbent chats about his movie The Duke, based on an art heist in 1961.

Jim Broadbent won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award for his supporting role as John Bayley in the feature film Iris (2001), as well as winning a BAFTA TV Award and a Golden Globe for his leading role as Lord Longford in the television film Longford (2006). Broadbent received four BAFTA Film Award nominations and won for his performance in Moulin Rouge! (2001). He was also nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards and four Screen Actors Guild Awards.

His latest movie The Duke is based on the true story of 60-year-old taxi driver stealing Goya's portrait of the Duke of Wellington from the National Gallery in London. He sends ransom notes saying that he will return the painting if the government invests more in care for the elderly.
