Your daily classical soundtrack

An eclectic mix featuring classical favourites, lesser-known gems and a few surprises.

Today's mixtape features a recorder flourish from Philbert Delavigne, a blistering Beethoven quartet and some reflective horn and piano from Alexander Glazunov. We'll also hear a beautiful new arrangement of the traditional folk song Bonny Cuckoo from Angeline Morrison, and in the week of the Queen's jubilee, listen out for a familiar tune within the finale of Muzio Clementi's third Symphony, otherwise known as 'The Great National'.
