Fresh Starts

Gary West celebrates the fresh start being enjoyed by pipers and drummers across the globe with the resumption of contests and other live events in the piping world.

With the return of major pipe band competitions and more regular live piping events across Scotland and beyond, Gary West celebrates the fresh start with more fine tunes of the bagpipe kind. There are pipe band contributions from the new British Champions in the top two grades, Inveraray and District and Buchan Peterson, highland piping sets from Logan Tannock, Arthur Gillies and Ali Hutton, Hebridean song and melodies from Anna Murray and the trio Hecla, and multi-layered imaginative musical creations from John Dew and Michael Grey.
