Mark Stephen visits Knoydart to find out about life in one of Scotland鈥檚 most remote communities and learns how the locals recently brought the pub into community ownership.
Mark Stephen climbs aboard the MV Western Isles passenger ferry in the port of Mallaig to make the 40-minute sailing to get to one of Scotland鈥檚 most remote communities, Knoydart. Mark meets up with locals to hear about what life is like living in an area that is so remote they have to make their own electricity. Mark also hears stories about how the Knoydart community recently rallied together to bring their local pub, 鈥楾he Old Forge鈥� into community ownership.
