Beth Nielsen Chapman chooses the Tracks of My Years

Beth Nielsen Chapman - two-time Grammy nominated singer-songwriter - chooses the Tracks of My Years. There's the daily love song, record and album of the week plus PopMaster.

Beth Nielsen Chapman - two-time Grammy nominated singer-songwriter - chooses the Tracks of My Years all week with Ken. Texas-born Beth started playing piano and guitar at the age of 11, and has had several popular songs on the Adult Contemporary charts in the 1990s such as 'I Keep Coming Back To You', 'Walk My Way' and 'All I Have'. In 2016 she was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

With a career spanning nearly forty years, Beth has released fourteen solo albums and written seven number one hits, with songs recorded by the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Willie Nelson, Bette Midler, Elton John and Neil Diamond plus many more. This year she's returning with a brand new single 'Hey Girl' - her first new music in over four years and the first taste of her upcoming fifteenth album 'Crazy Town', due out this autumn.

Beth will also be travelling back to the UK in October for a twenty-date tour kicking off in Stamford and culminating at the Victoria Theatre in Halifax.

The first two tracks she has chosen come from Herb Alpert and The Beatles. Ken also has your love song dedications plus another round of PopMaster. If you'd like to get in touch with the show email Ken.Bruce@bbc.co.uk
