Prospect Burma

Prospect Burma works alongside marginalised young people in Myanmar, who are living in danger and destitution following decades of conflict and a coup last year. Basic services such as education have collapsed, leaving young people isolated and powerless to stop their communities鈥� downward spiral. Prospect Burma helps them access education in fields such as medicine, engineering and agriculture so they can tackle the challenges their communities face.

Aphie (left), grew up in a village with no medical care. Prospect Burma supported her to become a qualified nurse. She has since trained hundreds of local healthcare volunteers, who treat thousands of sick people and save lives.
