NYO Play Gershwin, Ravel and Elfman

Andrew Gourlay conducts the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain in Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, Ravel鈥檚 ballet Daphnis and Chloe, and a new commission from Danny Elfman.

The National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain returns to the Royal Albert Hall for its annual appearance at the Proms to perform Gershwin鈥檚 Rhapsody in Blue and the concert version of Ravel鈥檚 sumptuous ballet Daphnis and Chloe.

One hundred and fifty musicians take to the stage to perform these two 20th-century classics and a brand new commission from legendary Hollywood composer Danny Elfman.

Jess Gillam presents, with special guests Segun Akinola and Isobel Waller-Bridge.
