Vic Reeves chooses Tracks of My Years

Comedian and artist Vic Reeves chooses the Tracks of My Years all this week. Plus there's your love song messages, Record and Album Of The Week and more PopMaster at 10:30.

Leeds-born comedian, writer, artist and national treasure Vic Reeves - under his real name Jim Moir - chooses his Tracks of My Years this week.

Vic and comedy partner Bob Mortimer made their TV debut on a show hosted by Jonathan Ross in 1989, before landing a slot on Channel 4 the following year with their series 'Big Night Out'.

Their surreal brand of comedy proved a hit and the pair went on to star in a vast number of shows together, including 'Shooting Stars', 'The Smell Of Reeves And Mortimer' and 'Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased)'.

Away from Bob, Vic has branched out into various other fields, earning a number one single with the song 'Dizzy'; presenting historical series 'Vic Reeves Examines' and presenting 'Brainiac'.

Fans are already aware that Vic is a keen bird watcher and lover of all things ornithological, and combined with his love of art resulted in his book 鈥楤irds鈥� featuring his paintings of eighty British Birds. Vic鈥檚 artwork is also featured in his TV shows and he exhibits regularly around the world.

The first two tracks Vic has chosen are by Gordon MacRae and Jimi Hendrix.
