An eclectic mix featuring classical favourites, lesser-known gems and a few surprises with music by Gluck, Rossini, Yoko Shimomura, Mozart, Gershwin, Orff and Dora Peja膷evi膰.
Today's In Tune Mixtape features rarely heard piano music by Rossini, Yoko Shimomura's music for Merregnon: Land of Silence - a 鈥漃eter and the Wolf鈥� for the Playstation generation and the scherzo from Dora Peja膷evi膰's Symphony in F sharp minor. Also in the mix is the Dance of the Furies from Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridice, a minuet for wind octet by Mozart, a Gershwin standard played by trumpeter Alison Balsom and some soothing choral music by Carl Orff.
