Oliver extends the hand of friendship. Is Tracy ready to admit the truth?

Tracy鈥檚 not keen on the idea of Chelsea and Brad sharing Alistair鈥檚 party, and is even more discomfited to learn Jazzer鈥檚 made it clear to the Greenacres household that their finances are tight. She leaves the house as Jazzer tries in vain to reassure her. Brad and Chelsea bicker, and Jazzer advises Brad not to bait Chelsea. Later their row continues and Brad wants to know what鈥檚 eating Chelsea. Jazzer tells him it鈥檚 not been easy for anyone lately, and tries to distract him with a game.
Oliver finds Tracy in a park in Borchester, and wonders why she鈥檚 there. Tracy makes a valiant effort to hold it together but finally caves and tells him everything. She鈥檚 lost her job, can鈥檛 afford essentials for her family and can鈥檛 find another post. She feels invisible and a failure. Oliver takes her to a food bank. As appalled Tracy hovers at the door, a kind helper invites her in, filling a food bag for her efficiently and without fuss. Tearful Tracy thanks Shelly for making everything more bearable. Oliver gives Tracy a lift home, assuring her that her bright, sensible children won鈥檛 have any trouble dealing with the truth of her situation. Tracy agrees; Oliver鈥檚 right. She鈥檒l tell them as soon as she gets home.
