Liz Truss is widely expected to be named as the new leader of the Conservative party. The Foreign Secretary has led her rival, Rishi Sunak in polls of Tory party members throughout the eight-week campaign. Ms Truss has promised to "act immediately" to help households with the rising cost of living .
