Nicola is joined by Scottish artist Alison Watt, recorded in front of an audience in the 大象传媒's Edinburgh Festival Spiegeltent to hear about the songs which take her back to her childhood and first gig, the song she can't help singing along to and the song she wishes she'd written. Alison shares stories about growing up in an artistic family home in Greenock, hiring a minibus to get to her first gig, and exploring the work of eighteenth-century Scottish portrait artist Allan Ramsay for her exhibition A Portrait Without Likeness.
