King Charles III has become sovereign of the world鈥檚 most well-known constitutional monarchy. The long reign of his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, was marked by her strong sense of duty and commitment to dedicate her life to her throne and to her people. Given the enormous social change in the 70 years since she ascended to the throne, King Charles will have to make choices about what it means to be a modern monarch.
