Singer-songwriter Joan Armatrading joins Mark and Stuart to share her 'First, Last and Everything', and chat about her fifty years as a performer.

Today, Joan Armatrading joins Mark and Stuart to share her 'First, Last and Everything' - that鈥檚 the first record she owned, the most recent one she鈥檚 enjoyed and the record that means 鈥榚verything鈥� to her.

The singer-songwriter moved to Birmingham from St. Kitts at the age of seven, and went on to teach herself to play the piano and guitar. She released her debut album Whatever鈥檚 For Us in 1972 and became best known for her songs Drop The Pilot, The Weakness In Me and Me Myself and I. She is celebrating 50 years as a performer by releasing The Weakness In Me, a book of her lyrics and scores, and a new live album, recorded at London鈥檚 Asylum Chapel.
