Featuring music from the avant-garde improvisational electroacoustic band's 2013 album, 6. Supersilent formed in 1997 after the free jazz trio Veslefrekk played a concert with drone artist and Freak Zone favourite Helge Sten (aka Deathprod). The Norwegian ensemble's instrumental album eschews genres, despite attempts to label it as jazz, electronic or ambient. Moody, atmospheric and contemplative in nature, the intriguing record's tracks are numbered, not titled and the personnel aren't listed on the cover.
