Bells on Sunday comes from the church of St Mary and St Chad in Brewood, Staffordshire. The eight bells were cast in 1896 by Taylors of Loughborough with a tenor weighing twenty one and a half hundredweight and tuned to E flat. The bells are notable for being one of the first sets of bells to be tuned using the scientific or 鈥淪impson鈥� tuning method developed throughout the late 1890s. We hear them ringing Spliced Surprise Major.
