Rex faces a terrible dilemma and Fallon has a mountain to climb.

Tony reports Lilian鈥檚 been hinting at what she鈥檚 bought him for Christmas. He admits to Rex he鈥檚 not in the mood for Christmas this year. Rex shows Tony the pilfered woodpiles, and collects the card from the wildlife camera. They decide to review the footage over a pint.
Emma and Ed have brought the children out for a rare family meal at the Bull, enjoying their little bit of extra cash. Fallon comes in with a box of props for next week鈥檚 choir performance, and Ed tells her George has quit. Fallon thinks Harrison鈥檚 tongue twisters have put George off. George arrives and agrees with her. She flatters him into continuing with his choir effort. Ed and Emma agree they should stop their logging sessions now they鈥檝e proved to George they鈥檙e not dull. They just need to remember to make the most of the things they have.
Later, as Tony and Rex settle to watch the video material, Tony spots a figure, and then another as it becomes apparent they鈥檙e moving the logs. They establish it鈥檚 a man and a woman, before seeing way more than they want to see. They recognise the man as Ed, but are perturbed to notice that the coat the woman鈥檚 wearing is definitely Fallon鈥檚, not Emma鈥檚. Tony declares he鈥檚 going to forget he ever saw the footage, but shocked Rex can鈥檛 leave it. He moves out of sight of Ed who鈥檚 at another table. He needs a clear head to work out what he鈥檚 going to do.
