Episode 12

TV quizzers Anne Hegerty and Shaun Wallace are on a chase to find profit making antiques. Experts James Braxton and Margie Cooper offer the wisdom in this competition.

Two formidable Chasers from popular teatime quiz-show The Chase put their antique knowledge to the ultimate test. Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty challenges her pal Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace in a competition to make the most money buying and selling antiques.

Joining the top quizzers on this chase to find the biggest profit are two sage antiquers, James Braxton and Margie Cooper. This antiques adventure spans the Home Counties with classic cars transporting them from shop to emporia as they pick up collectables and curios on a £400 budget to buy the best curio or collectable. Erudite Shaun finds a dusty book published in 1734 while Anne gambles a three-figure sum on a piece of Victoriana. But which will attract the eye of bidders at auction?

Along the way Anne and James discover a cottage hiding with a four-hundred-year-old secret, while Margie and Chelsea FC fan Shaun explore Hitchin, home to the world’s first football museum.
