The Office for National Statistics estimates around 187 thousand people have self-reported long-covid. Most report feelings of extreme tiredness, loss of smell, and muscle pain. Others say they've developed memory and concentration problems.
Holyrood's covid recovery committee is to look into the support that's available for people dealing with the long term impact of the virus. Their inquiry will start later today.
