Daniel Martinez Flamenco Company, Ashley Fripp

Pianist Ashley Fripp and guitarist Daniel Martinez and members of his flamenco company are Katie Derham's guests tonight.

Katie Derham is joined in the studio by flamenco guitarist Daniel Martinez, accompanied by some of the members of his company - Barbara Gonzalez (violinist) and Julian 'Ticotico' (cajon player) - who perform live ahead of the release of their second album 'Andalucia' and its launching concert at Usher Hall (Edinburgh), and before the Daniel Martinez Flamenco Company's large tour across the UK this season. Pianist Ashley Fripp also joins Katie Derham, ahead of his concert at St Martin-in-the-Fields (London) dedicated to the music of Mozart and Chopin, and before participating in the Strand International Piano Series.
