Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is among three more local authorities here to strike a new annual rate. Householders will have to pay an extra 7.95%, which the council says is the equivalent of 79p per week. Local businesses will also pay an extra 4.79%. Councillors say they also identified around 拢5.6m which can be raised through savings and additional income.
