The Smith family embark upon a mammoth declutter. Stacey and the team challenge them to let go of half of their possessions, so that they can beautifully reorganise their life and home.
Two years ago, Raaj, her husband Roydel and their toddler son, Ajay, moved in with their two nieces, Simran and Harjoth, and nephew Gurkeerat when their mum (Raaj's sister) passed away after contracting Covid. The two families were forced to quickly merge together their households while grieving their tragic loss. They now feel ready to face the difficult task of reorganising and creating a new home for the blended family.
Raaj faces up to letting go of some of her late sister's belongings. With Stacey and Dilly's help, she finds a way to hold her sister's memory in her heart, while the children rediscover photos and childhood memories.
At the house, carpenter Rob works to make the three-bedroom house fit for six people. He builds ingenious carpentry solutions for storage and display purposes, including a room within a room and a bespoke writing desk for Roydel. Cleaner Iwan brings the sparkle back with a supersized spring clean, and Dilly reorganises the kitchen and creates a brand new larder. Stacey guides us through the home transformation with lots of revitalising design hacks and upcycling ideas for refreshing our interiors.
