Sarah Walker with a glorious musical mix
Sarah Walker chooses three hours of attractive and uplifting music to complement your morning, whether you鈥檙e admiring some green shoots in the garden, or having a lie in.
Sarah Walker chooses three hours of attractive and uplifting music to complement your morning.
Today, Sarah finds some much-needed summer warmth in the flowing strings of Frederick Delius鈥檚 Brigg Fair, and admires the fluid fiddle playing of John McCusker.
There鈥檚 also a frenetic scherzo for two pianos, a trumpet concerto played with glittering virtuosity by Tine Thing Helseth, and a song by Peggy Seeger that we will all one day relate to鈥
Plus, Sarah plays music which looks forward to International Women鈥檚 Day on the 8th of March, including a new discovery for Sarah by the composer Anna Bon.
