Cerys meets the legendary Van Morrison for an exclusive interview in which the superstar discusses his love for the blues, the artists he most admires and the history of skiffle!

Skiffle is very much on Van's mind at the moment as his new album features him reimagining classics from that late 50s era, a time and a style which saw Lonnie Donegan become a global phenomenon in the wake of his signature hit Rock Island Line.

That song - and others like it - was a profound influence on the young Ivan Morrison growing up in Belfast, and with Cerys' help he goes back to that time to talk about its effect on his own musical ambitions and how it helped to introduce blues to a wider global audience.

In a wide-ranging chat, he also talks about his live performances, his domestic life in the Northern Ireland of the 1950s, his current attitude towards his classic back catalogue and much more besides.

And, of course, there'll be lots of music from Van himself and from the legendary blues figures of the past who had such a profound influence on the music we hear today!
