Jo has the first play of Everything But the Girl's new single, plus TV critic Emma Bullimore reviews the latest releases, including David Attenborough’s Wild Isles.
Everything But The Girl is made up of husband and wife Ben Watt and Tracey Thorn. Their upcoming album Fuse is due on 21 April, and will be their first new album in over 24 years. Following on from the release of Nothing Left to Lose in January and Caution to the Wind in February, Jo gets the exclusive first play of the album's next single - Run a Red Light.
For the Radio 2 Culture Club, Jo chats to TV critic Emma Bullimore about the latest releases you won’t want to miss, including David Attenborough’s Wild Isles, new drama Extrapolations, the return of Challenge Anneka, Race Across the World and Greg James’ game show Rise and Fall.
In Wild Isles, David Attenborough returns home to explore the wonders of British wildlife.
New drama Extrapolations is set in the future, and follows eight interconnected stories as the human race battles climate change. The stellar cast includes Meryl Streep, Tobey Maguire, Kit Harrington and Ed Norton.
Rise and Fall is a new game show hosted by Greg James and brought to us by the creators of The Traitors, where ‘grafters’ must work to build a cash prize that only the ‘rulers’ can win.
After a three-year break, the new season of Race Across the World sees five new pairs make their way across Canada in the hopes of winning £20,000.
Over 20 years since its original release, Challenge Anneka returns. Follow Anneka as she visits secret locations and completes surprise challenges to help everyday heroes and local communities who desperately need her help.
